The Situation: The Centers for Disease Control is fighting obesity by making at-risk youth (ages 9-13) aware of the importance of staying active. Yellowball is their program that gets kids playing and sharing their experiences online.
The Solution: We leveraged Yellowball's ad campaign to create the VERB Yellowball Experience, a 21-week tour of over 100 US cities. The experience was designed as an obstacle course, where kids use their Yellowballs to complete stations. The course featured unique, irresistible features like: zip line, quad basketball hoops and an "army crawl" inflatable mat.
The Results:
- 283 stops on the tour.
- 1,002,127 total attendance.
- 80,100 Yellowballs distributed.
What we learned from this experience: You can never have too many balls in the air when it comes to educating kids about the benefit of fitness.
